Dental Hygienist (RDH) – Part-Time

Location: DeForest, WI
Current Schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Last Thursday of Each Month

We are looking for an experienced Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our family-friendly dental practice in DeForest, WI. This part-time role offers a great opportunity for a hygienist passionate about periodontal care, patient education, and delivering high-quality care in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scaling and root planing, periodontal maintenance, and non-surgical periodontal therapy
• Conduct periodontal charting, risk assessments, and provide detailed care for patients with periodontal disease
• Work closely with the dentist to co-diagnose and develop personalized treatment plans
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, and the systemic links between oral and overall health
• Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Assist in achieving practice production goals and patient retention through exceptional care and communication

Qualifications:

• Valid state RDH license
• Local Anesthesia Certification
• Nitrous Oxide Certification
• Experience with periodontics and non-surgical periodontal therapy preferred
• Strong patient education and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team-oriented practice
• Familiarity with Open Dental software (preferred but not required)
• Experience in pediatrics is a plus, but not required

Compensation:

• Competitive hourly pay or production-based pay options
